Riohex Gard 0,12% 250mL

0.12% Chlorhexidine Digluconate Solution
A solution containing 0.12% chlorhexidine digluconate, which acts as a highly effective antiseptic in controlling dental plaque and preventing gingival diseases. Since it does not contain alcohol in its formulation, RIOHEX GARD 0.12%® prevents mucosal irritation. The antimicrobial mechanism of chlorhexidine is related to its cationic charge, which binds to microbial cell walls and other complexes, altering the microbe’s osmotic balance. Chlorhexidine has antiseptic activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms, as well as some yeasts. Dermatologically tested.
