Rioquímica donates more than 30,000 products to help fight the new Coronavirus

Rioquímica is a company that is directly linked to the main recommendation in matters of combating the dissemination of Coronavirus: hand hygiene. The products indicated for this habit all over the world, alcohol gel and soaps, are produced daily on a large scale in the industry, for over 40 years.

Knowing this, and aware that a large part of the population does not have access to these products, Rioquímica, ever since the new Coronavirus arrived in the São José do Rio Preto region, has spared no effort to ensure that these essential products reach everyone, expanding production at the factory to meet the high demand, especially for alcohol gel, and also making donations of these products to various health institutions and vulnerable groups.

In all, the company has 32,250 products that were donated in recent weeks. Initially, there were 20 thousand bottles of Riocare Gel and Rioderm Soft Cream, delivered to hospitals and social institutions in the region (see below for the list of institutions that were benefited).

Soon after, another 2,000 similar products were donated to the Rio Preto Social Welfare Department, which daily serves several institutions with highly vulnerable people, such as homeless people and care centers for children and the elderly, in addition to volunteers.

And to contribute even more, during the live of the duo Zé Neto and Cristiano on Easter Sunday, over 10,000 products were offered, including 8,000 bottles of Riocare Gel and another 2,000 bottles of Rioderm Soft Cremoso, which will be delivered to the institution that the pair indicate.

With this, Rioquímica intends to contribute so that the impact of the dissemination of the new Coronavirus is smaller, offering access to better quality products for the population, fulfilling the company’s commitment.
